What is a Georgia Homeschool Declaration of Intent form?

Georgia law requires parents or guardians who teach their children at home to submit to the Georgia Department of Education (GADOE) an annual Declaration of Intent form. A Declaration of Intent must be submitted to the Georgia Department of Education within 30 days after establishment of a home study program and by September 1 annually thereafter.

We make submitting your Declaration of Intent easy!

If you are homeschooling in Georgia, you are required to submit a Declaration of Intent Form every year that you homeschool. This should not be an overwhelming experience, so we help make it easy!

Each year, at the start of your homeschool and before September 1st, we will send you a reminder email and help with submitting your Declaration of Intent form. You can either submit it online, or choose to mail/fax in your form.

You have so much to think about, you shouldn’t be worrying about things like this. We are here to help you fulfill all the Georgia Homeschool requirements and keep you organized!
